About a year ago I was offered an unintended garden that had covered a mountain side with wild blackberry vines.
While clearing the vines I uncovered a well.
While clearing the well, I discovered water.
While hauling the water up from the well, I found the sustenance of life.
While nurturing life, I tended a garden.
While tending the garden, I fed my soul.
I replaced the wild blackberry vines that once covered the well will rosemary and forget-me-nots.
I cherish these fragrant reminders of the power of water, life and love.
